Kimmarie runs a tight ship, and the facility is always inviting. While new to the Peninsula establishing a Virginia Maritime Ministry (VAM2) program, I found all the foks I met there (staff and customers), satisfied and excited about boating and the support they get at Crown Pointe. "For my 60th Birthday weekend in early May 2011 my wife Jyl and I set out on a 4 day journey to visit 116 Marinas along the waterways of Virginia, from the upper James to the upper Potomac and all tributaries in between. We found that Crown Point Marina was our number one choice for location, price, amenities and aesthetics. The marina is beautiful with easy access to the mouth of the York River and Chesapeake. The staff and other boat owners are some of the friendliest helpful people you would ever want to meet. Out boat Dream a 26 foot Macgregor now has a new home on Dock J slip 6. We are proud to be part of the Crown Point Marina family. "

"My wife and I stayed on my uncle's boat from Aug.21 thru the 28th and all I can say the "L" dock rule's between steve and kitty to del and his wife you couldn't pick better people to have around you.The marina is clean,quiet and friendly and all I know is that this is the marina we are putting our boat next spring"

"Dear Crown Pointe owners,
You don't know me but my boat resided at your marina for a little better than 6 months.
In that time, the old girl, a 1973 Bristol 35.5 centerboard model, had some issues that needed to be resolved prior to being moved for other work to be done at another location.
While at your marina, I had a chance to meet and work with Robert Linn.
He addressed an extensive list of repairs and upgrades, including but not limited to a total bottom job, a reefing system and lazy jack system installed, a new roller furling system, all new lines, including life lines. He fabricated an arch to mount my solar panels, and painted it, along with mounting it. He relocated winches, and replaced all the blocks and sheaves. He also engineered a replacement prop for the boat, and did engine work, new fuel lines and motor mounts, etc...
I was very satisfied with his level of knowledge and professionalism in dealing with my boats problems, including his work ethic, and efficiency in completing the tasks on time and always at or very near given estimates.
I would recommend his services to anyone asking, and actually already have.
This guys got a bright future in the boating business.

"On behalf of Chesapeake Experience, I would like to thank everyone at Crown Pointe Marina for allowing us to lead one of our 2008 Chesapeake Bay Kayak Camps at your facility.
The ideal location allowed us to provide a wonderful hands-on experience to 16 kids during the week in July. many miles were paddled, many critters were identified and many lessons about the Chesapeake Bay were taught. We are thrilled that we have such a wonderful partner in Crown Pointe Marina!
